Because the game is highly reliant on character plots, movement, and relations, this post is here to allow all players to discuss their ideas for characters and carve out a place for them within the setting, as well as consider potential or pre-established CR. Character blurb: Anastasia is Fate's take on the famous youngest daughter of the last Russian tsar who supposedly survived her own execution (spoilers: she didn't), and thankfully it seems like they actually took more from real history than shitty animation movies. Outwardly, she can be very regal, formal, and almost prissy, in that "I'm a princess so I'm better than you" way. She's familiar with the usual royal customs and pasttimes; for example, she'll probably ask her Master to dress up if they go out or insist on setting up a proper gathering for guests for any truce talks. Anastasia can be quiet, determined, and downright scary. "Ice queen" fits her perfectly when she wants to be one. Yes, she will scold her Master (or anyone else). However, she's also curious, a troublemaker, and more than a little naughty; it's canon (and in some cases based on history itself) that Anastasia's gonna be interested in taking selfies 24/7 and enjoying the modern conveniences not available in fucking cold early 1900's imperial Russia.

Character blurb: Kirei is terrible. Absolutely terrible. He likes eating food spicy enough to make him ""feel alive"" (aka put himself in pain and sweat and slurp in public like he's having an orgasm) and misery—inflicting it on people himself, hearing tons of people die in a mass atrocity, building an orphan-powered furnace in a church basement, watching little girls cry, etc. If you can think of it and it's Bad he is probably really interested in it. Unfortunately, his emotions have been broken from birth so that's sort of why he is this way. I don't think it's a stretch to say he has some traits of a sociopath by any means considering he (supposedly) doesn't feel the same emotions other, normal human beings do, and is hardly affected by concern for his fellow person.

Fortunately, he does have his morals. Kirei is super Catholic and super ultra pro-life and because he was raised with a strong sense of morality built into him, he's well aware his unique deficiencies are undesired in God's eyes. What comes from the combination of that with his desires is a man who can be unbelievably cruel, but also serve as a pretty awesome preacher. He follows a lot of rules demanded by his religion, but is just as likely to shirk them or creatively work around them if the reward is good enough.

Kirei will be AU'd into the setting, so while he's still the same basic character who has already undergone the change Kirei experienced from /Zero to /stay night, aspects of his personal history will be different. He is one of the three current supervisors for the Holy Grail War. Kirei spends a lot of time at the Fuyuki Church. Come for his depressing sermons. Like in canon, he'll also be an Executor, and he has a strong talent with "surgery" or healing magecraft.

He's also a family man (he doesn't play by the rules...), happily married to an adoring wife, and father to 10 girls ranging in age from beginning college to infancy.

Kirei's AU wife is Claudia, the same woman as his wife in canon, so his daughters can take after her in appearance (white hair, golden eyes) or his, also they can inherit Kirei's sociopathic tendencies/emotional broken-ness if you want.

at the moment, sherlock is trying to gauge the status of the war. he's trying to discern how many masters and servants are involved, who they are, and what their method of attack will be. given how henri knows zilch about magecraft, he's concerned about creating a safe workshop to operate from.

he's gonna try and steal.

if you want your characters to have their shit successfully (or unsuccessfully) stolen from, let me know! holmes will likely abandon the attempt at the first sign of danger since he wants to protect his identity. he will be in disguise!

if this sounds like something you'd like to partake in, hmu!! i'm thinking that 3-4 volunteers would be good, since holmes isn't gonna go crazy with breaking and entering.

if you don't like having shit broken into, that's perfectly fine. holmes is going to maintain his fiddler persona to scout out the city and maybe - just maybe - you'll have a fucking annoying fiddler outside your home. he's scoping out the area which you're free to pick up on if your character is perceptive enough, but he's otherwise just scraping away on his violin and making a racket.

connor isn't taking a break after the denny's fire because something stinks. he's in the middle of an investigation rn to figure out what may have caused it, with plans to meet up with peter parker and he may bother yq's alter ego at some point. i'm not sure if he'd be openly declaring that he's looking for sus magi shit, but if you want to run into him while he's digging thru the city - or if you want him to pick up a lead on ~magecraft~ activity leading to ur character - that's fine! it works the opposite way too, tho i'll 2x check with merlin's player first.

he's not looking to eliminate any masters at this point. he just wants to learn as much as he can about the new territory first.

Optional Enable Me: i think playing a morally-grey/manipulative master would be interesting to throw into the mix, so i have some possible ideas!

CHARA
-the heir of the dreemurr lineage, who sees the war as more of a game. doesn't view living things outside of their family as truly "people," but as numbers. wants to win the grail in order to exterminate mankind, but that's a wish they keep secret from their own family.
-overall a creepy, soft-spoken child who grew up believing they were the "player" in a game, with everyone else being an obstacle for them to overcome

ANA AMARI
-not too sure what i want her au backstory to be yet, but i think it'd be interesting to make her a vigilante figure who wants to right injustices she sees with her magecraft. she may or may not be a pain in the ass for the church + clock tower.
-her goal in joining the grail war is to minimize the damage that may be caused by it and to wish for an end to the ritual all together, as it brings more harm than good in her eye(s)

- From a mage family ruined by cult shenanigans. Her mother joined said cult in the hopes of strengthening Hitagi's weak magic circuits as a child, which worked, but...

- A loner who lays the verbal abuse on thick but it's kind of there to keep people away. Can't have a normal social life when you're a distrustful mage that weighs 5 kilos!

She accidentally summoned Saber (Kou), but since she has no interest in the grail war she’s only planning on defending herself, and not killing anyone if she can get away with it.

She’s also a massive friendship terrorist and she is coming for you.

Character blurb: Peter's just your average teenager, plus super powers. He's a bit of an awkward dude but the more comfortable he is around someone, the less of a disaster he's going to be. He is in general a terrible liar and terrible at hiding things, yet despite that he's got a secret identity as a super hero. He is pretty much trying hard to Use His Powers For Good and look out for people who need protection.

As Spider-man, and occasionally as Peter Parker too if he's comfortable enough, he's a sassy little shit.

Requested characters or CR: I'm pretty much open to all options! Peter's a very friendly guy and can pretty much bounce off of everyone. I'd like for some eventual Master/Master interaction, whether it's an alliance or rivalry, since that'd be pretty cool to play out. Other than that any and all school interactions would also be great!

Character blurb: Bakugou is loud and abrasive and has a big ego. He is not a pleasant guy to be around tho but he is more like that one Chihuahua that barks and barks at you without ever stopping rather than actually being terribly malicious. While he's not exactly a good guy, he's not That Bad either and has his own set of morals to follow. They just don't include wearing a shirt or being, like, a decent human being to other people.

I also wanna do stargazing with her and Peter's gonna get onto Spidey shit soon so the chance for him being on a roof at any given time is gonna be there. Maybe they could meet there and then they end up doing actual meetup with Peter bringing her different food each time and they can take selfies together.

He's a master tho so not sure if she would just like fucking kill him on sight. OR LOCK HIM INTO HER DUNGEON.

I'M GOING TO TRY AND PUT A POST UP FOR THAT MEET UP SOON-ISH. Also he's going to be wearing his shitty home-made suit for the first meet up but he is going to work on a much fancier suit that'll combine magecraft and technology so once he's got that he can absolutely pick on magecraft activity from Spidey. Also as Spidey he is going to be 100% open about being a Master because his main objective is going to be to prevent people from killing each other, so if that ever comes up, it can be a discussion!

He's going to teach Connor about sense of humor both as peter and spidey it's gonna be my mission
