Because the game is highly reliant on character plots, movement, and relations, this post is here to allow all players to discuss their ideas for characters and carve out a place for them within the setting, as well as consider potential or pre-established CR. It’s brainstorming and matchmaking all in one! Please respond to the post using the below form; feel free to comment to others’ forms as well to hash things out! Name: Who are you? Canon: AU or Jamjar?: Which option are you choosing for entry into the game? If you're playing a canon Nasuverse character as native to the setting, that is still AU, while pulling them in from their own canon is still jamjar. Master or Servant?: Class: If playing a Servant. Please keep the current distribution of Servant classes in mind when choosing! Uniformity in the standard classes, rarity in the extra classes. If you’re uncertain, you can also include potential classes you’d like to play this character in - remember, the greater majority of Heroic Spirits qualify for more than one class! Character blurb: A rundown of your character. This can be anything from their personality to background to likes and dislikes to the time they scraped their knee on the sidewalk so their butler flew into a rage and had the entire street torn up which led to a revolution in the neighborhood because people were growing tired of their roads being at the whims of the upper classes. Is your character from a prominent family of Magi? Are they on the run from Sealing Designation Enforcers or Executors or bounty hunters? - but his core is fused with the doppelganger, an evil phantom which lets him change his appearance and assimilate other people's memories at a cost. info and permissions here.

CURRENT PLANS:
Currently just running around posing as his several alter egos to gather info, get mana, punch bad guys, and maybe, MAYBE eliminate Masters. The most notable one is his Sato Suzuki persona who is a student at Homurahara, but I can create as many identities as he needs to suit your RP needs. I'm here for you.

POTENTIAL MASTERS/SERVANTS
XUANZANG SANZANG
- cheerful, kind, ditzy and somewhat bossy Buddhist monk
- AUing so that she doesn't have memories of FGO
- likes making disciples out of people
- but her training is strict
- help!! the weak!!!
- a crybaby coward who gets lost easily, but gets by with her optimism and beliefs
- hates being alone u_u
- has no desire for the Grail, but willing to help her Master if it's for the good cause
KOUGYOKU REN
- soft friendless temperamental warrior princess
- easy to bully
- but also spoiled and pushy
- she's actually really sweet beneath the shyness, tsun, validation seeking, and inferiority complex
- Master AU: talented but illegitimate child of a mage family tossed into the Grail war as a safety measure to help her older, MUCH MORE SKILLED AND CONFIDENT sibling win. Uses water magic.
- Servant AU: Either a Saber who shoots water spears and summons tsunamis, or a Caster that has portal magic. Caster is her weaker iteration.
- Jamjar: Can give people she shares a strong bond with water-based magical weapons. Would probably be joining the war to find a way home?
HITAGI SENJOUGAHARA
- A teenage mage who seeks to use the Grail to lift her curse of weightlessness.
- From a mage family ruined by cult shenanigans. Her mother joined said cult in the hopes of strengthening Hitagi's weak magic circuits as a child, which worked, but...
- cw: attempted rape in her backstory, lmk if you're uncomfortable with that/interested in knowing
- A loner who lays the verbal abuse on thick but it's kind of there to keep people away. Can't have a normal social life when you're a distrustful mage that weighs 5 kilos!
- Breaks the fourth wall even in this AU. Sorry.
- I would highly prefer a Servant who would 1) react well to her humor (IT'S WILD PLEASE BEAR WITH IT) and 2) be kind and patient with her despite her... everything.

KOUGYOKU REN

Class: Saber
Character blurb: The youngest princess of the Kou Empire (ancient fantasy China in Magi's universe). She is the daughter of the emperor's younger brother and a prostitute -- a lowborn. Because of this and her timid personality, she doesn't have a lot of friends. However, her talent in battle helped her become one of the empire's strongest warriors. She should have remained so, but THINGS HAPPENED and she somehow ended up becoming the empress -- a role she neither wanted nor felt she deserved. But with the help of Alibaba and her nation, she gains newfound confidence and rebuilds the empire anew!
She's a Saber in this AU so she's less confident in herself. Swords are all she's good at!! Please do not trust her to do anything else!!!! (She will not say this, though.) She seems cold but that's just her trying to be cool. She's actually a cute friendless loser who can be tricked into taking baths with pigs.
She has a hairpin that has a dragon djinn, which lets her turn it into a sword and give her water powers, if that's relevant.
