Because the game is highly reliant on character plots, movement, and relations, this post is here to allow all players to discuss their ideas for characters and carve out a place for them within the setting, as well as consider potential or pre-established CR. It’s brainstorming and matchmaking all in one! Please respond to the post using the below form; feel free to comment to others’ forms as well to hash things out! Name: Who are you? Contact: Your Plurk, Discord ID, Email, or even just a journal where you accept PMs. Any is fine! Character name: Who are you playing? Canon: AU or Jamjar?: Which option are you choosing for entry into the game? If you're playing a canon Nasuverse character as native to the setting, that is still AU, while pulling them in from their own canon is still jamjar. Master or Servant?: Class: If playing a Servant. Please keep the current distribution of Servant classes in mind when choosing! Uniformity in the standard classes, rarity in the extra classes. If you’re uncertain, you can also include potential classes you’d like to play this character in - remember, the greater majority of Heroic Spirits qualify for more than one class! Character blurb: A rundown of your character. This can be anything from their personality to background to likes and dislikes to the time they scraped their knee on the sidewalk so their butler flew into a rage and had the entire street torn up which led to a revolution in the neighborhood because people were growing tired of their roads being at the whims of the upper classes. Is your character from a prominent family of Magi? Are they on the run from Sealing Designation Enforcers or Executors or bounty hunters? Any information you provide us is something we can use to enhance the gameplay experience and your fellow players can use to workshop with you, so while you don't NEED to tell us every single thing, there's definitely no need to be shy! -playful like an excited child, but also a genuinely good person who wants the best for the clients he works for -- and that includes his master!
-loves mysteries, music, criminology, and drugs. unfortunately, he doesn't like much else and it depresses him sometimes.
-has a flair for the dramatic and loves to stick his nose into places where it doesn't belong
-would rather be a nosy non-combatant than an actual combatant, but he can baritsu if he wants to
-is he the Real Sherlock Holmes?? WHO KNOWS OOOOO
-currently contracted with henri, who he's very worried about protecting but you're not gonna get him to show that easily nuh-uh
-has been sneaking around the city in various disguises. if you've seen him, chances are that he's trying to keep tabs on you.

WORKSHOP CONSTRUCTION
at the moment, sherlock is trying to gauge the status of the war. he's trying to discern how many masters and servants are involved, who they are, and what their method of attack will be. given how henri knows zilch about magecraft, he's concerned about creating a safe workshop to operate from.
this means that whatever magical materials he can't buy?
he's gonna try and steal.
if you want your characters to have their shit successfully (or unsuccessfully) stolen from, let me know! holmes will likely abandon the attempt at the first sign of danger since he wants to protect his identity. he will be in disguise!
if this sounds like something you'd like to partake in, hmu!! i'm thinking that 3-4 volunteers would be good, since holmes isn't gonna go crazy with breaking and entering.
FIDDLE DEE DEE
if you don't like having shit broken into, that's perfectly fine. holmes is going to maintain his fiddler persona to scout out the city and maybe - just maybe - you'll have a fucking annoying fiddler outside your home. he's scoping out the area which you're free to pick up on if your character is perceptive enough, but he's otherwise just scraping away on his violin and making a racket.

but they are actually staying at this gigantic fortress castle one of her nps can make so maybe it isn't so. ;-; accessible by thieves BUT i would be completely fine with him stealing other things like while she's out shopping or smthn!

AU Background
-a homunculus created by a magus called amanda kali, designed solely for the purpose of the holy grail war. he's her stand-in for the war, because there's some familial bullshit going on and amanda is busy trying to stay on top of that.
-the kali lineage is one renown for their homunculi, kinda like the einzberns except less famous. they're centered in the united states.
-connor is only 3 months old. an absolute baby.
Personality
-loyal to a fault and dedicated wholly to his mission of "win the holy grail war at all costs"
-never had the chance to really experience anything outside of his handler's home
-has probably killed a few magi in the past under amanda's orders and won't hesitate 2 kill more, though it's questionable if he has a clear concept of life/death??
-awkward and eager to please
-socially inept and easily troubled when he realizes that maybe? he actually? has human emotions? wtf?
-can be highkey petty in his weirdly polite way

connor isn't taking a break after the denny's fire because something stinks. he's in the middle of an investigation rn to figure out what may have caused it, with plans to meet up with peter parker and he may bother yq's alter ego at some point. i'm not sure if he'd be openly declaring that he's looking for sus magi shit, but if you want to run into him while he's digging thru the city - or if you want him to pick up a lead on ~magecraft~ activity leading to ur character - that's fine! it works the opposite way too, tho i'll 2x check with merlin's player first.
he's not looking to eliminate any masters at this point. he just wants to learn as much as he can about the new territory first.

-the heir of the dreemurr lineage, who sees the war as more of a game. doesn't view living things outside of their family as truly "people," but as numbers. wants to win the grail in order to exterminate mankind, but that's a wish they keep secret from their own family.
-overall a creepy, soft-spoken child who grew up believing they were the "player" in a game, with everyone else being an obstacle for them to overcome
ANA AMARI
-not too sure what i want her au backstory to be yet, but i think it'd be interesting to make her a vigilante figure who wants to right injustices she sees with her magecraft. she may or may not be a pain in the ass for the church + clock tower.
-her goal in joining the grail war is to minimize the damage that may be caused by it and to wish for an end to the ritual all together, as it brings more harm than good in her eye(s)
