Hello hello! Welcome to the

brewsterassembly workshop! Because the game is highly reliant on character plots, movement, and relations, this post is here to allow all players to discuss their ideas for characters and carve out a place for them within the setting, as well as consider potential or pre-established CR. It’s brainstorming and matchmaking all in one! Please respond to the post using the below form; feel free to comment to others’ forms as well to hash things out!

Canon:
AU or Jamjar?: Which option are you choosing for entry into the game? If you're playing a canon Nasuverse character as native to the setting, that is still AU, while pulling them in from their own canon is still jamjar.
Master or Servant?:
Class: If playing a Servant. Please keep the current distribution of Servant classes in mind when choosing! Uniformity in the standard classes, rarity in the extra classes. If you’re uncertain, you can also include potential classes you’d like to play this character in - remember, the greater majority of Heroic Spirits qualify for more than one class!

Character blurb: A rundown of your character. This can be anything from their personality to background to likes and dislikes to the time they scraped their knee on the sidewalk so their butler flew into a rage and had the entire street torn up which led to a revolution in the neighborhood because people were growing tired of their roads being at the whims of the upper classes. Is your character from a prominent family of Magi? Are they on the run from Sealing Designation Enforcers or Executors or bounty hunters? Any information you provide us is something we can use to enhance the gameplay experience and your fellow players can use to workshop with you, so while you don't NEED to tell us every single thing, there's definitely no need to be shy!

Character name: Charles-Henri Sanson
Canon: Fate/~~Grind~~ Grand Order
AU or Jamjar?: PROBABLY AU it would be interesting to see what would happen if he were newly summoned without a Chaldea to accept him readily.
Master or Servant?: Servant
Class: Assassin, could also qualify for Saber

Character blurb: The fourth generation executioner of Paris from a family of executioners, and the one who straddled the monarchy and the Revolution. He executed people from all walks of life, from the royalty to pauper criminals, and was considered a pariah because of his work. Historically, he was "The Great Sanson" and executed near 3,000 people during the Revolution. Oh, and he worked as a doctor before he had to take up his sword, so to speak.

Sanson believes deeply in justice and that every criminal and wrongdoer should and will pay for their actions, and considers it his duty to mete out punishment. Though bound to a repulsive calling, he nonetheless accepted it. The sight of blood and the concept of death both no longer bother him, and at times he speaks with an air of morbidity. Despite this, he is troubled by the great amount of blood he has shed over the years and seeks to atone for his actions. He views himself with a lot of self-loathing and doesn't consider himself worthy of pity or sympathy. As a result, he tends to speak and carry himself as though he's constantly in mourning.

Nonetheless, as an executioner and as a doctor, Sanson values human life greatly and sought to reduce the suffering a criminal under the death sentence must undergo. Like most, he only desires peace and happiness and does care for the people close to him, and shows unwavering loyalty and trust toward his Master. He also holds fast to the law and ensures that it is followed, detesting false accusations above all things, even above criminal rabble.

Requested characters or CR: I am looking for a Master; I'm itching to play out a solo Servant + Master dynamic with this guy. But besides that -

- people who can try and cheer him up and be friends with him in some way
- fellow justice freaks and people who can talk about THE LAWR or whatever
- rivals
- I AM NOT SURE GIVE ME ANYONE just make him socialize!!!

I'M GOMEN BUT YES GIVE ME THE FRIENDSHIP my work awhile ago made my brain fizzle out apparently

Sanson would definitely...hesitate if he finds out she's a Servant and might see if he can just ally himself with her until they're the last two left standing or something

So Sanson it might either relieve or alarm you that her Master might just straight up attempt to adopt everyone which makes allies more likely than you'd think

Kou would honestly be fine with that tbh since her only real goal is just making sure her Master survives this Grail war, they don't need no wish granting cup

Ah...self-loathing intensifies but okay

LISTEN SANSON IS A-OKAY WITH KEEPING HER MASTER ALIVE he'd probably avoid killing the Masters whenever he can unless they ARE GUILTY AND MUST BE PUNISHED
