WORKSHOP Hello hello! Welcome to the brewsterassembly workshop! Because the game is highly reliant on character plots, movement, and relations, this post is here to allow all players to discuss their ideas for characters and carve out a place for them within the setting, as well as consider potential or pre-established CR. It’s brainstorming and matchmaking all in one! Please respond to the post using the below form; feel free to comment to others’ forms as well to hash things out! Name: Who are you? AU or Jamjar?: PROBABLY AU it would be interesting to see what would happen if he were newly summoned without a Chaldea to accept him readily.

Class: Assassin, could also qualify for Saber


Character blurb: The fourth generation executioner of Paris from a family of executioners, and the one who straddled the monarchy and the Revolution. He executed people from all walks of life, from the royalty to pauper criminals, and was considered a pariah because of his work. Historically, he was "The Great Sanson" and executed near 3,000 people during the Revolution. Oh, and he worked as a doctor before he had to take up his sword, so to speak.

Sanson believes deeply in justice and that every criminal and wrongdoer should and will pay for their actions, and considers it his duty to mete out punishment. Though bound to a repulsive calling, he nonetheless accepted it. The sight of blood and the concept of death both no longer bother him, and at times he speaks with an air of morbidity. Despite this, he is troubled by the great amount of blood he has shed over the years and seeks to atone for his actions. He views himself with a lot of self-loathing and doesn't consider himself worthy of pity or sympathy. As a result, he tends to speak and carry himself as though he's constantly in mourning.

Nonetheless, as an executioner and as a doctor, Sanson values human life greatly and sought to reduce the suffering a criminal under the death sentence must undergo. Like most, he only desires peace and happiness and does care for the people close to him, and shows unwavering loyalty and trust toward his Master. He also holds fast to the law and ensures that it is followed, detesting false accusations above all things, even above criminal rabble.

Requested characters or CR: I am looking for a Master; I'm itching to play out a solo Servant + Master dynamic with this guy. But besides that -

- people who can try and cheer him up and be friends with him in some way
- fellow justice freaks and people who can talk about THE LAWR or whatever
- rivals

Character blurb: Michelle is the eldest of three sisters who call themselves the Paper Sisters. They aren't sisters by blood but have decided to adopt each other as sisters, claiming their bonds are even stronger than those of blood. They run a detective agency in Hong Kong but were enlisted as bodyguards for a famous author and moved to Japan to accompany said author. They eventually get tangled with two secret organizations specializing in books and knowledge.

"Paper Sisters" isn't just a name. Michelle is a Paper Master, which means she can manipulate paper in any way she wishes, turning it into weapons, shields and animated origami. Her favorite tactic is using a paper bow and arrows which really work, but in a pinch, a single sheet of paper becomes a deadly blade. She is also a translator, a a bodyguard, and of course, a bookworm.

SPOILERS: Michelle was genetically modified to gain the powers of a Paper Master and was brainwashed into living with her "sisters" as a way to ensure that they operate as a unit. They eventually discover their past and their true origins, but nonetheless decide to keep working together to bring down the people who have threatened their world.

Michelle, at first glance, may seem to be a ditz. She goes crazy over books, buys so many books that she forgets the essentials and has to be schooled by her 13-year-old sister, and is an excitable person in general. Her ways and reactions tend to be exaggerated, over-the-top, and dramatic. She's always cheerful and optimistic even in the worst of situations, and it takes a lot to bring out her temper - it exists, but is like a dormant volcano.

But when it truly counts, she doesn't hesitate to step up, speak out, or take charge. She is calm, cool and collected under fire and can be a fearless leader in the face of battle.
